Experiencias, diálogos, en torno a la lectura. Primer paso hacia la crítica literaria y la entrevista.

 

Curso de un año dirigido a personas con interés en la lectura, la escritura, el periodismo cultural, la comunicación.

Partiendo de las experiencias personales en el ámbito del periodismo cultural, Emma Rodríguez compartirá el arte de hacer una buena entrevista literaria, la capacidad de comprender un texto para saber comunicarlo y el placer estético en la base de todo el periodismo cultural. Ayudará a los participantes en el curso a descubrir su potencial como lectores capaces de dar ganas de leer a los otros, de transmitir el placer de la lectura, de compartir la propia dicha de leer. Para ello es necesario que los participantes identifiquen su relación particular con la lectura, lo que supone para ellos, lo que les puede mover a compartir sus anhelos con los demás. Se trata de construir un espacio activo, de escucha, en el que aprender en comunidad, buscar, conversar juntos.

Para ello se trabajará en dos planos, con dos objetivos:

1) Compartir historias de lecturas. El camino, el preámbulo, hacia el ejercicio de la crítica literaria.
2) Entablar diálogos en torno a la lectura. El camino, el punto de partida, hacia la entrevista en profundidad con escritores, con creadores de los distintos ámbitos de la cultura.

Este curso es un perfecto complemento para el curso de Creación Literaria porque escritura y lectura son las dos caras del proceso creativo literario.

Está dirigido a aquellos que quieran:

descubrir su potencial como lectores capaces de dar ganas de leer a los otros

Transmitir el placer de la lectura

Convertirse en comunicadores de literatura

Metodología

● Durante todo el curso se trabajará a partir de preguntas que darán lugar a textos, a fragmentos de experiencia.
Ejemplos:
– Cada participante deberá escribir una historia corta sobre un libro cuya lectura le haya afectado especialmente, indagando en el por qué. Una vez leídas en voz alta se abrirá un diálogo con el objetivo de compartir pareceres, de confrontar                      puntos de vista.
– Cada participante deberá construir un texto corto a partir de frases de autores de referencia sobre la lectura, tipo: ¿Qué opináis sobre el consejo que le dio Flaubert a una amiga: “Lee para vivir”? ¿Qué os sugiere lo que cuenta la escritora,                    activista y profesora bell hooks: “La lectura me empoderó para viajar a numerosos lugares con la mente y la imaginación. La lectura amplió mi conciencia. Al sentar las bases de la pasión por las palabras y las ideas, la lectura hizo posible lo                    imposible”.

● Paralelamente se trabajará con textos literarios -a determinar- que darán lugar a comentarios escritos, serán analizados y abrirán diálogos entre todos los participantes en el curso. Una manera de acercarse a la reseña literaria para un medio de comunicación escrito, una web, un blog, un podcast literario…

● Se trabajará en la elaboración de entrevistas imaginadas a escritores con los que los participantes en el curso les gustaría entablar un diálogo. Esas entrevistas partirán de la lectura de una obra concreta, que habrá sido comentada previamente.

● En la última parte del itinerario se invitará a algunos autores al taller para ser entrevistados. Cada cual escribirá su propia entrevista, información, a partir del encuentro.

Observaciones

En todo momento se fomentará la reflexión y el intercambio de ideas. Al ser un itinerario abierto, en proceso, se irán introduciendo ejercicios y actividades dependiendo de los anhelos de los participantes en el curso. Habrá una atención permanente y personalizada de todos los trabajos que se vayan realizando. Todos ellos enfocados a los medios de comunicación. La crítica académica, por su especialización, no entra en los objetivos del curso.

Profesora

Emma Rodríguez

Licenciada en Periodismo por la Facultad de Ciencias de la Información de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, cuenta con una amplia experiencia como periodista cultural. Después de unos primeros años como “freelance”, escribiendo artículos de cultura y sociedad para publicaciones diversas (entre ellas los periódicos “Ya” y “Diario 16” y las revistas especializadas “Quimera”, “Qué Leer” o “DeLibros”) entró a formar parte del equipo del diario “El Mundo” desde su nacimiento. Allí trabajó durante 23 años como redactora especializada en libros en la sección de Cultura, a excepción de un período como coordinadora del suplemento “La Esfera”. 

Desde 2013 está al frente de la revista online lecturassumergidas.com Su proyecto más personal y que define mejor su manera de entender y cultivar el periodismo cultural. Un espacio de calma y reflexión en la red en el que se apuesta por los contenidos en profundidad, reseñas de libros, reportajes y entrevistas. En los últimos años también ha colaborado en la revista cultural “Turia” y en la sección “El Pulso” de El País Semanal.
