EL AMOR Y LA COMUNIDAD

Vivimos en un mundo de palabras desafectadas. No tenemos ningún problema en usar la palabra mesa, pero somos incapaces de usar palabras como amor, que dejamos en un limbo porque tampoco nos atrevemos a destruirlas.

La filosofía actual se preocupa por los problemas actuales, es quizás el campo de conocimiento que ha tomado claramente el camino de abandonar el uso banal de las palabras, el juego intelectual, el academicismo meramente formal.

Aunque la filosofía no tiene espacio en la comunicación ordinaria, no es noticia, no forma parte del mundo de los documentales que muestran la investigación actual y vive aislada por el poder de la técnica como progreso y de la ciencia como única forma de conocimiento validado, vive por fin apegada al presente.

Uno de los temas en estudio es el de la comunidad. Si vivimos en comunidad, lo lógico es pensar qué es, cómo puede mantenerla viva, qué situaciones actuales nos alejan de ella. De manera que esta conversación genera nuevas tentativas de estar juntos que reciben distintos nombres, pero que siempre giran en torno al bien común, la base de la democracia, sistema de organización aceptado por la inmensa mayoría.

El bien común es una expresión desafectada. Esa desafección representa una esperanza después de tanto conflicto causado por palabras afectadas o ideologías cargadas ya de afectación. En la filosofía francesa, especialmente en Maurice Blanchot hay una reivindicación de la desafección como salida, reivindicación del pacto, del contrato, una creencia en la aparición de la comunidad en el momento en que se produce esa distancia con los otros. Y tiene su lógica este giro del pensamiento después de la vivencia del siglo XX, sin embargo, las palabras en el limbo, no destruidas por pudor, aparecen como sombras de algo vivo que merecerían una revisión también desafectada.

Una comunidad sin amor es en cierto sentido una liberación. La comunidad basada en el bien común sin amor por medio nos libera de culpas, de miedos, ensalza la justicia, atrae la transparencia y la comunicación. Ponernos de acuerdo desde el bien común parece lo más fácil, es cuestión de saber dialogar y llegar a acuerdos. No hay tratos sin desafección, es evidente. Este proyecto lleva implícito el abandono de la ideología como ideas afectadas, pertenencia ciega a una forma de pensar que separa de otros con otras formas de pensar. Y lleva consigo además el abandono del amor como mandamiento. ¿Cómo conseguir esa desafección necesaria?

Me he metido en el limbo a mirar la palabra amor y me he quedado muy sorprendida del nuevo significado que puede tener después de haberla tenido en ese estado de congelación durante tanto tiempo, podríamos decir desde los años sesenta.

Maurice Banchot toma como modelo de desafectación un libro de Marguerite Durás, El mal de la muerte. Un hombre hace un pacto con una mujer. Ella duerme con él por dinero y el tiene relaciones sexuales con ella que le obligan a preguntarse por el amor. Él quiere saber si puede amar y ella le dice que no. La muerte aparece como esa incapacidad para amar que lleva a ver el mar de color negro o a sentir un impulso de matar a la amante. Ella dice que el amor no se puede tener por quererlo. Aparece de repente, un día viendo un pájaro volar o en un sueño, en circunstancias no buscadas.

Según Blanchot, la comunidad se da en esta relación por el pacto, esa desafección de alguna forma les permite hablar. Sin embargo, la sensación que deja el libro es de muerte,justamente lo que intenta contar, una muerte creada por la incapacidad de relación, de amor. Parece impensable, irracional, la tarea de ponernos en manos de lo que no depende de nosotros, de lo que llega, de lo esperado sin estar esperando.

La idea del amor como algo que llega de fuera, no buscado, no obligado en un mandamiento, el amor como vida en presente sin pensar el pasado y proyectar en el futuro, el amor como confirmación de actos libres, el amor imposible de crear desde la voluntad es seguro la fórmula infalible para llegar al bien común, para crear comunidad viva. Pero ése es el verdadero tema a estudiar, cómo poner ese amor en circulación, tema muy tratado por Tolstoy. Es una utopía que todos lleguemos a sentir, tener o ser amor, lo sensato es pactar el bien común desde lo racional, que nos llevará a nuevos errores que serán subsanados creando un nuevo error. El primero que puedo observar es la aparición del bien común como ideología, lo contrario de lo que necesita el pacto desafectado.

Podríamos establecer una conversación interminable sobre el amor que nunca lo cerraría como concepto, las palabras del limbo no mueren porque no terminan de cerrarse, por eso creo que deberíamos tratarlas sin miedo, al fin y al cabo las inventamos nosotros y las reinterpretamos nosotros. Sólo con echar un vistazo ya se intuye que el amor nos llevaría a la autonomía necesaria para pactos no desafectados, sino naturales, el gran proyecto kantiano que todavía no ha sido puesto en práctica.
